Responsibility and Training

• Walmart has a proven track record of responsible beer and wine sales.
• Currently 35 Walmart and Sam’s Club locations in Arkansas sell beer and wine. Each facility has a training and supervision program in place to help ensure responsible and legal sales.
• Walmart requires all associates who sell alcohol to undergo special awareness training designed to help associates make responsible sales and avoid sales to minors. Associates who sell alcohol are required to score 100% on a test regarding sales to minors.
• Walmart has a clear policy forbidding sales to anyone under 21, and we have a strict disciplinary policy, which includes terminating associates who sell alcohol to minors.
• Our cash registers prevent associates who are not permitted by state law from selling alcohol.
